THE BIBLE QUALIFICATIONS OF A BISHOP (1 Tim 3:1-5)

IT'S NOT ONLY DESIRING THE OFFICE OF A BISHOP.

1. Don't Consecrate a Bishop because of money, big Cathedral, big Jeep or a big congregation only but he must have Biblical qualifications.

2. You must know the person very well, do your investigations.

3. Give him Bishop Elect for about 6 months. Within the 6 months find out if he has worked on himself, his Church/ministry and his marriage. His marriage and family must be intact and should not bring shame to the name of The Lord.

4. He must not be a novice. He must be ready to learn and relearn. Many Bishops don't attend conference, seminar or work shops.

5. He must develop himself personally by reading, (reading books most expecially on his line of calling.) Whenever a Bishop takes a Mic in program to minister we must see that truely he is a Bishop.

6. And don't forget a Bishop is a father figure.
