*BUILDING KINGDOM RELATIONSHIPS IN MINISTRY* 

 *"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up." – Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 (NIV)*

*Anointed but isolated is a dangerous place to be. You may carry fire, but without relationships, you may burn alone. True kingdom impact is built on healthy, humble, and intentional connections.*  

*1. CULTIVATE RELATIONSHIPS BEFORE CRISIS ARISES*  

Don’t wait until you are in trouble to seek support. Relationship is like a well—you must dig it before you need the water. Jesus had built rapport with His disciples *before* Gethsemane. (John 15:15)

*2. RELATIONSHIPS GIVE ACCESS, NOT NEEDINESS*  

People don’t open their lives to strangers. Relationships are doors; if you don’t build them, you remain locked out. Avoid a parasitic mindset—don’t only show up when in need. (Proverbs 18:24)

*3. REJECT THE “I WALK ALONE” PRIDE*  

Many pastors hide behind pride and isolation. Saying *“I have no friends”* can become an ego badge. But when storms hit, you will need someone. Even Jesus needed Simon to carry the cross (Luke 23:26).

*4. NO ONE IS SELF-SUFFICIENT—EVEN JESUS NEEDED A BOAT*  

In Luke 5:3, Jesus used Peter’s boat. This shows interdependence, not weakness. Ministry is not about doing it all alone—it’s about flowing together.

*5. NOT EVERYONE IS WICKED—FIND YOUR TRIBE*  

While the world is evil, God still has faithful servants. Elijah thought he was alone, but God said 7,000 remained (1 Kings 19:18). Stop generalizing. Seek and recognize safe kingdom connections.

*6. CONTRIBUTE TO RELATIONSHIPS, DON’T JUST CONSUME*  

Giving builds trust. Even if you’re broke, offer time, help, or presence. Philippians 4:17 – *“Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.”* Sow into people’s lives.

*7. SHOW UP FOR OTHERS—DON’T ALWAYS MAKE EXCUSES*  

Supporting others in their programs (ALL-NIGHTS, conferences, crusades) is ministry too. Galatians 6:2 says *“Bear one another’s burdens.”* Presence is a form of partnership.

*8. HONOR RANK AND STAY HUMBLE AROUND SENIORS*  

When relating with fathers or senior ministers, don’t become familiar. The spirit of familiarity births dishonor. Maintain boundaries, even in closeness. (1 Samuel 24:6 – David respected Saul’s position.)

*9. DON’T USE TITLES TO BLOCK CONNECTIONS*

Some pastors remain isolated because they focus on titles, positions, and status. Kingdom connection is built on humility, not hierarchy. Philippians 2:5 – *“Let this mind be in you...”*

*10. RELATIONSHIPS ARE KINGDOM ASSETS—INVEST INTENTIONALLY*  

Your network will determine your next level. Elisha connected with Elijah and received double portion (2 Kings 2:9). Who you follow and walk with can shape your entire ministry journey.

*In ministry, your oil flows better in the company of others. Build wisely, invest humbly, and connect deeply. You are not called to isolation—you are called to collaboration.*
